How have you given access to users

This may not be the correct location for this question, but I was wondering how other folks are giving access to users for their cards.
For example, when giving access to internal users it is pretty straight forward and easy. But for external folks it gets a lot tricker with publication groups. Is that what everyone is setting up or are you using the internal permissions and restricting them as far as they can be?
For what I'm doing it would be nice to see the Admin have the ability to grant users access to DomoBuzz. But I don't see a way to do that.
Pretty open question, so if you have a few minutes I'd appreciate your feedback. Would like to get a feel about how people have done this and any pros/cons you can provide. Thanks, Matt
