Re: Rolling Total in Table View
Hi @DMJerry ,
What you're looking for is a windowing function in a beast mode. This isn't enabled by default so you may need to talk to your CSM to get it enabled in your instance but you can get a running total utilizing a window function like:
SUM(SUM(`Total`)) OVER (ORDER BY `Day`)
You can also utilize a window function to get the grand total but it'll return the same value for each row in a new column:
SUM(SUM(`Total`)) OVER ()
Instead you'd want to utilize the Include Total Row option on the card if you only want a single row with the grand total.
Add 'Most Upvoted Ideas' as a quick selection on the Forums Homepage
I'd like a new option listed here to see the most upvoted topics (maybe with a time filter) to easily find out what features are highly requested across the community and help avoid duplicate posts.
Card Title font color & background color
How to color code the card title both font and background like we can do it in Power BI
Conditional Formatting in Pivot Table
I want to have conditional formatting in my pivot table. The column I want to have the color rules to is 'Month_Value'. Each row will be a different condition based on the metric.
I tried using HTML Markup with the pivot table but nothing appears at all. I am not sure if the HTML Markup is available on the pivot table chart. I also tried creating another column with 'Goal' or 'No Goal' and apply color rules to the entire row based on that column. The color rule only apply to the Goal or No Goal column instead of the entire row. Is there a workaround to apply conditional formatting to this pivot table?
Re: Help with Beast Mode Formula
I followed your suggestion and converted to a table, used the ticket date for the first column and then put columns for A, B, C, (A+B+C), and the full formula, set all of those to SUM, and the calculations all worked. I was even able to get the summary number to be correct over the selected date range.
Here's a kick in the head: the Powers That Be want it to be a single number so I converted the card back and prepared to let you know it was still broken when, lo and behold, it worked! I saved it and slowly backed away, so now everyone should be happy (except for me: why did this work?!?).

Allow Window Functions in MagicETL Formula Tile
It would be helpful to be able to write MagicETL formulas using window functions, similar to in beast mode. While the Rank & Window tile is often sufficient, there are some use cases where having this feature in the Formula tile would simplify the dataflow steps:
- Using a sum window function with unbounded rows
- This does not work consistently in the Rank & Window tile
- Creating multiple window functions with different partitions
- Users currently have to create a separate tile for each partition criteria, whereas it would be nice to contain these functions within a single tile
- Adding a case statement within the aggregation
- In current state this requires adding a calculated field in a forumla tile, then using it in a subsequent Rank & Window tile. It would be simpler to do it all at once in the original formula tile

Add Notes and Titled Containers to ETLs
I find that my ETLs are often big, with multiple endpoints; so when I come back it takes me some time to catch up with what I did. I think that adding some text notes to the ETL view would make it easier to evaluate what I, or one of my coworkers, have done. As for titled containers, they would allow a user to draw a boundary around a section of an ETL and label the purpose of that section.
Variable Manager (Similar to Beast Mode Manager)
Starting to use some variables in our instance, and I want to make sure I have a good way to review/manage them as they are created/changed. I checked in the Beast Mode Manager thinking that would be the most logical place to find them, but unless I'm missing it I don't see a way to filter to them (tried searching by name as well). I installed the DomoStats Variables, and Variables Used in Beast Modes datasets, but again don't see a way to track them down.
Need something in Domo, similar to Beast Mode Manager or added there with filter capability to get to just the Variables.

Re: Colour Markers on Line Chart
Update:
Workaround for this is to overlay the conditional field. To do this, I inputted the main line metric as the output of the condition CASE WHEN [insert logic] THEN [Main Metric] ELSE NULL
Not pretty but closer to the look & feel I want.
"Add All Columns" button for Mega Table Charts
When looking at data in a mega table chart, I find myself frequently going through the list of dimension and measure columns and adding each individual column, one-by-one. I suggest adding a "Add All Fields" button to bring in all Dimension and Measures Fields in the DataSet - See Picture Example 1. Alternatively, add buttons for "Add All Dimension Fields" and "Add All Measure Fields" - See Picture Example 2.
