Re: Possible to Connect Domo Card within Excel?
@mmisky87 - Are you trying to get data from Domo to Excel or from Excel to Domo? I am thinking you are trying to get data from Domo into Excel, based on your screenshot.
It seems as though you may need to use the new Office Plug-in to achieve this.
It can be confusing with all the legacy tools, but the newest one does a LOT more. Here are some screenshots so you can see the difference and know when you are on the tool I suspect you want.
Re: Hello from a new user!
Welcome @Domolex . I made a similar career shift a few years back. Current working at a digital marketing agency where I initially was leading out on marketing automation effort and now have taken ownership of our Domo instance. It has been great utilizing Domo to help to report out on marketing efforts for our clients as well as building out insights on our internal teams capacity and client profitability.
Re: Google Analytics advanced connector not working
What issues are you having with the data? The API Endpoints for GA4 behave MUCH differently from GA3. It can be a nightmare. Rather…It has been a nightmare…to get data accurately pulling. Both dimensions and metrics conflict and result in data omission.
Feel free to reach out if you need help. Domo may not be able to help because the connector is pulling what the endpoint pulls - I tested this.
Also, make sure you are using this connector:
Re: How to count numbers in an email address
Yeah! The best thing to do is split the email out so you only have characters left of the @ sign. Then remove all text and only keep numbers. Then count the characters left.
Use the following:
CHAR_LENGTH(REGEXP_REPLACE(SUBSTRING_INDEX(Email, '@', 1),'[^0-9]+',''))
Then use a case statement to filter out anything you don't want to count:
CASE WHEN `Left of @` < 4 THEN 'Less than 4' ELSE '4 or more' END
Re: Automate DOMO pulling an Excel File
@ColinHaze You could use Workbench if the file is stored locally on your network. I believe you need to have admin rights to be able to download Workbench. If you use SharePoint you could also use that to automatically get the files. You may also be able to use some scripting with the Java CLI to do this as well. I think there is also an excel plug in where you can have a file directly connected to Domo and you can just click upload.

Re: Rank Top 5 of the week
Rank can be hard to do in a pivot table card. I would start with a mega table and see if you can get the ranking how you want it and then drag your ranking beast mode into the filter and set your number there. This video walks you through how to do it.
