Monthly Reports (Google Sheet). Help with next steps.

Hello! I have a question. Each month, I generate a report from Culture Amp listing employees who have completed anytime feedback. While the report contains essential information, it lacks various feedback labels (e.g., peer-to-peer, coach-to-coach). I manually add these labels in a column within the Google Sheet. My goal is to prepare the CSV file for Domo, allowing me to create a dashboard card for my department's review.

Could someone outline the steps I should follow for this monthly report? Specifically, where should I upload the report each month, and what preparations should I make to ensure it integrates smoothly with Domo? Happy to clarify anything if needed.

There is a Google Sheets connector that you can use. You'll want to prepare your spreadsheet as much as possible before ingestion into Domo with the proper columns/labels. With this connector, you can set it up to import manually, or on a schedule.

If there are any transformation that are difficult to do in Google Sheets, you can leverage MagicETL within Domo to get your data in the proper structure before using it in visualizations.

@Joss_C Besides Google Sheets, you have options to automate. Consider putting the data file in a place that can be pulled via any connector. For example, a csv file on a SFTP server can be pulled via the CSV connector on a schedule, or on a common file sharing platform, like Box or DropBox also has connectors to pull the file to refresh on a schedule. If you have the file locally on a network drive and don't have those services, you can also push up to Domo using Workbench on a schedule.

As for the form updates, consider looking into Inline Editor, which is a premium feature. If you need implementation help setting these up, it may be worth considering consulting services or discussing options for guidance and education with your Customer Success Manager.

Good luck, sounds like a great project!

Thank you, David. I've just asked someone in my organization to install this for me because I currently lack the necessary permissions. If we're unable to use the Google Sheet Connector for any reason, is there another method we could use on a monthly basis?

Can I first try this out in a testing environment?
