Okay, so still learning here. I am trying to calculate a waste percentage from used material to installed material.

Here's the data I'm working with… Hopefully this makes sense.

Column "Product Code Number"

Column "Quantity"

I want to use the following formula

((Product code number quantity(only for codes 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,20,21,30,40,50,60,61,70) - product code quantity(only for code 83)) / (Product code quantity(only for codes 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,20,21,30,40,50,60,61,70))

This is not working and I've been messing with it over and over and can't seem to get it right.

SUM(CASE WHEN Product Code Number = '10','11','12','13','14','15','16','20','21','30','40','50','60','61','70' THEN Quantity ELSE 0) - SUM(CASE WHEN Product Code Number = '83' AND Unit = 'SF' THEN Quantity ELSE 0)
/
SUM(CASE WHEN Product Code Number = '10','11','12','13','14','15','16','20','21','30','40','50','60','61','70' THEN Quantity ELSE 0)
END

    Use IN instead of =

    SUM(CASE WHEN Product Code Number IN ('10','11','12','13','14','15','16','20','21','30','40','50','60','61','70') THEN Quantity ELSE 0) - SUM(CASE WHEN Product Code Number = '83' AND Unit = 'SF' THEN Quantity ELSE 0)
/

    So I fixed this, but now this formula is only giving out 1's as values. For context, I'm using both of these CASE WHEN statements as their own separate calculated fields. Both return the correct values. However, when try to put them in this formula (subtract and then divide by), I get 1's.

    This is the mathematical formula I am trying to achieve. ((Gross - Net)/ Gross)

    SUM(CASE WHEN Product Code IN('Granite','Everstone','Silestone','Vicostone','Quartz','Granite','Quartzite','Marble','Travertine') THEN Quantity ELSE 0 END)
