Is it possible to have multiple bars(metrics) on y-axis?

I have date field, and a Type (Pen, Pencil, etc.,) and I have actual Revenue and Forecast revenue. I want to know if there is a way to compare side by side for the revenue and Forecast using the stacked bar. I could achieve using the trellis categories but the viz is not what I anticipate for the comparison of Revenue vs Forecast

@Lucky21 - based on what you described. I would recommend looking into a bullet chart.

  • @Lucky21 I would also look into the Grouped and Stacked Bar chart. You would need to create a separate beast mode for each Type/Metric combination (i.e. Pen Revenue, Pen Forecast, Pencil Revenue, Pencil Forecast)

Thanks for the reply. @david_cunningham - If I use the bullet chart, I will lose the visibility by the type. IT can only allow either Type or Date. I want to see the trend over the month comparing Revenue vs Forecast with the stacked bar chart

@MichelleH Thank for the helping hand! I did tried with the stacked Bar chart but it either allows me to have show the bar graph for each product and compare the revenue vs forecast.
But I am trying to see if I can have all Types stacked as Revenue for JAn 2024, with the other bar showing all the Types stacked using Forecast $.

  • @Lucky21 Be sure you are using the below chart type, not Stacked Bar.

Note there is also a setting called "First bar series count" where you can specify how many Types go into the first bar

@MichelleH - Maybe I was not explaining correctly, what I need. Example I have the data in this format:

    Month - Type - Revenue - Forecast

    Pen

    150

    140

    2024-02-29

    Pen

    178

    170

    2024-03-31

    2024-04-30

    Pen

    2024-05-31

    Pen

    262

    260

    2024-06-30

    Pen

    290

    2024-01-31

    Pencil

    2024-02-29

    Pencil

    378
