Is there a trick to get a client with 'user' scope using the API?

I'm just trying out the API and can't create a client with data, dashboard, and user scope. If I leave out 'user', I can generate a client instance. I'm logged in as an Admin user. Is there some trick or setting that I need to know about?
Thanks!

I tried creating a new client and this time all API options (scope) were included. No idea what changed, but I can now move forward with users and groups.
Even still, if there is any useful background information around this to know, I'd be glad to hear it.

Is anyone able to help out with this request?

Hi,
I'm glad to see that you got this working! There's no special trick to allow users to be selectable, so I'm not sure why you couldn't select it. For the next time, here are some instructions on our Developer site to help create a client ID and secret https://developer.domo.com/docs/authentication/overview-4
Have a great rest of your week!
