Table card interaction loses filter applied to itself

The table card interaction has a weird behaviour. If clicking on the column that the card is currently filtered by, the card applies the filter to other cards but loses this filter on itself. Clicking on the other columns work normally.

Is there a way to solve this issue?

@RZ That's odd. I was also able to replicate the issue, so it sounds like a bug. For what it's worth, the "Go to Card Details" interaction produced the same behavior. I'd suggest putting in a support ticket to notify Domo.

@MichelleH I expect the card to keep the filters applied to it, which is how it behaves when I click on the other columns.

  • @RZ I'm not sure I'm following. Why are you clicking on it if you don't want the filters to change? Have you tried setting a different interaction on the card?

@MichelleH I agree on that it is unnecessary, since the table card has been filtered by this column. But it is a possible user behaviour, and we don't expect such a clicking would break the report.

  • @RZ I see what you mean. I'd recommend disabling interactions on that table card to avoid confusion.

@MichelleH Thanks for your idea. I tried disabling the card interaction as you suggested, but that disabled scrolling as well, which makes it impossible to view all columns/rows in the table card.
