09/18 PRODUCT RELEASE SNEAK: Connectors Update

We’ve made a few quality-of-life updates to streamline connector usage upon data ingestion!  

• Define parsing rules for JSON coming in from a webhook: This solution takes sample response JSON from a webhook and allows you to set parsing rules — parse the response into a tabular format that best suits your needs and perform schema management. This will simplify your data pipeline by making your data more usable on ingestion.  
• Added time zones into our connector scheduling module: Up until now our connectors schedule could only be scheduled in UTC, meaning you’d have to tediously convert your local time into UTC. We’ve added the ability to schedule connectors updates in whatever time zone you desire, alleviating the headaches surrounding the more advanced feature of scheduling connectors updates on a particular day of the month when you’re more than 12 hours ahead of UTC.   
• Schedule when to run a JSON Webhook connector: Even if the system the webhook is connected to only sends data once a day, the connector will still check for new data every 5 minutes and consumes consumption credits. This solution offers an option to schedule a JSON Webhook connector on your own schedule, so you can manage your consumption credits more efficiently and expand your data pipeline without worrying about excessive credit consumption.
