Google Analytics 4 Preferred Connector Error 401

I'm currently attempting to pull data for a GA4 account into Domo using the preferred Google Analytics 4 connector. I've selected all of the dimensions and metrics that I would need, but when I attempt to run the dataset it will attempt to pull the data in for around an hour and then return '401 : Unauthorized : Error calling [URL]'

This isn't an error that I've encountered before, and any searching for it discusses the need for a client ID and secret, however they aren't requested when entering the credentials while setting up the connector.

Is this error caused by the settings within the GA4 property limiting API reporting for my creds? Or something that's being caused by the connector itself.

The 401: Unauthorized error you're encountering typically points to an authentication issue.

Expiration - The OAuth token used by the Domo GA4 connector may have expired.

Insufficient permissions - The Google account used to authenticate with the GA4 API might not have sufficient permissions to access the requested data.

Google API restrictions - If there are any restrictions or settings within the GA4 property that limit API access, this could cause a 401 error. Verify the API access settings in your Google Cloud Console, make that the API is enabled and that there are no restrictions blocking the Domo connector.
