Maps card functionality

We use a map card to show sales by zip code. Is there a way to plot where our sales offices are on the same map using the exact address?

Unfortunately with that chart type you cannot plot an office location. You could, however, using the lat/long card. You can adjust the size of each bubble shown on the map based on a value, and in the below example, added the office location to the data with a value of 1 and then allowed the other location values to be their value, resulting in a map shown below:

This is as close as you can get without creating a custom map using a Brick.

  • Which map card are you using? The only map card chart type in Domo that allows for pinpoint locations is the Lat/Long map card.

Alternatively, you could create a custom map card using a DDX brick.

@SEC Hi! My name is Austin.

I can't say I've ever tried to do something like that, but have you had a chance to check out our documentation on creating Map cards? I'd go through that article and see if that can give you some answers: https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360043428793?language=en_US

Of course, if that doesn't work, there's probably a couple of different options. You could try creating a custom chart which would allow you to do just that, or a use a Domo Brick to create a custom app that includes a map allowing you to put your sales offices on it.

I still want it to look like the display for the map card just with the color coding by zip code, so not sure the lat/long card would work. I'll look into ddx bricks and custom card options suggested. Thanks.
