Get timestamp from workflow step

Hi,

I need to get (or calculate) timestamp from a workflow step to insert it later on a dataset as a column value. Right now I'm invoking a dataflow with a SQL function but I think that have to be a better way.

Thanks in advance.

    There are lots of ways to do this. The most important thing is just to find a way that works and isn't computationally overloading.

    In this case I would absolute recommend a code engine function.
    Here video on making that exact function: https://www.loom.com/share/b0fa3d484ab04222b61219e9f1a0fea1?sid=4bf8ed43-f337-47b2-a60d-fbe4bbcb2c5f

    And here is the code that I review in the video:
    ———————————————-

    http://const codeengine = require("codeengine");

    function getTimeStamp() {
    let timeStamp = Date.now();
    console.log(timeStamp);
    return timeStamp;
    }

    module.exports = { getTimeStamp };
