Table formatting

I have a table with a header that is made of up 2-3 rows and some of the cells are merged (see sample screenshot). Is this custom header possible to create in DOMO?

@AngelaO415 this is not an exact match, but as far as I'm aware it's as close as you'll be able to get using the built in Domo cards.

Key point: this relies on the data being structured in a particular format. This is detailed below.

You'll need to figure out how to aggregate and structure your dataset to be in this format.

Once you've shaped your data, you can use the built-in pivot table and apply the following settings

    • Turn off total rows and total columns
    • Turn off subtotal rows and subtotal columns

Then set up your table with the following mappings

You'll want to adjust the data labels like so

    row_group → Subprogram

    column_group → Period

dollar_value → Total $ Funded | also set as type "Currency" with 2 decimals

numeric_value → Total Relationship Length | also set as type "Number" with 0 decimals

All of this comes together to yield the following output
