Creating a timer in DOMO

I am trying to set up an ETL or logic where any time a new incidence happens, the clock resets.

Problem statement would be - How many days can a company go without recording any incidences being recorded. Once the incidence happens, the days resets.

    Hi @shreeyab, If you are looking for a counter for days, it would be a beastmode or formula like this:

    DATEDIFF(CURRENT_DATE(),`yourDateField`)

    If you'd like more detail, it would be something like this:

    CASE WHEN ((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP((`yourDateField`)))/3600) < 24
    THEN DATE_FORMAT(TIMEDIFF(NOW(),`yourDateField`),'%k hrs %i mins')
    WHEN ((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP((`yourDateField`)))/3600) >= 24
    THEN CONCAT(ROUND((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP((`yourDateField`)))/3600),' hrs')
    END

    If I solved your problem, please select "yes" above

  • How you solve this will depend on your dataset and if you're recording individual days if they pass or fail or just the failures. Do you have some sample anonymized data to help illustrate this for us?
