Creating a timer in DOMO

Member

I am trying to set up an ETL or logic where any time a new incidence happens, the clock resets.

Problem statement would be - How many days can a company go without recording any incidences being recorded. Once the incidence happens, the days resets.

Hi @shreeyab, If you are looking for a counter for days, it would be a beastmode or formula like this:

```DATEDIFF(CURRENT_DATE(),`yourDateField`)
```

If you'd like more detail, it would be something like this:

```CASE WHEN ((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP((`yourDateField`)))/3600) < 24
THEN DATE_FORMAT(TIMEDIFF(NOW(),`yourDateField`),'%k hrs %i mins')
WHEN ((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP((`yourDateField`)))/3600) >= 24
THEN CONCAT(ROUND((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP((`yourDateField`)))/3600),' hrs')
END
```

Hi @shreeyab ,

How are you gathering the inputs of when an incident happens?

You're only one dashboard away.
