How do I add different y axis labels for the same chart with variable control?
Hello! I built a bar chart graph with variable control, so users can pick one of the few provided variable values and see the respective values on y axis. These values can be in the format of percentage, dollars, and days. I wasn't able to find a way to customize the y axis label shown based on what user selects to see. Is there a beast mode method that I can potentially use?
The x axis remain the same in quarters. Only the y axis value changes based on user selection.

Ah. You can't dynamically change the format in the formatting options but you'd have to do it within a beast mode which can be a bit complex. You can use something like this to get you started with numbers or currency formatting:

You can't change the title of a field on your cart with a variable. It's set to whatever you define it when in analyzer. You'd have to use a generic name like Metric or something.

Thanks for your response. My original question was to present y axis in different format (variable a: '$…', variable b: '…%', etc.), but it does seem like that is not something that I can manipulate currently.

Thank you! This does look complicated but I will take a look. Would be nice if we can easily alter it in the settings section :)
