Calculate Previous Year metrics in DOMO

I have a requirement to calculate previous year's data (in monthly format - Month Over Month).

So if user selects Fiscal year 2023, he should be able to get data for 2022.

Only catch is that 2023 means Oct-22 to Sep23.

So 2022 would mean data comparison between Oct-21 to Sep22.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can have Domo configure a fiscal calendar and you can then use the standard period over period charts:

Alternatively I'd recommend utilizing a custom date dimension where you can a define your fiscal years and also custom offsets. I've written up an article on how to do this here:

Below I'll outline how I utilize my own date dimension table to have customized period over period charts, compare the current partial month to the same amount of time in the previous period (no more seeing your period over period percentage tank because the month isn't complete yet).
