What is the best way to present data that has categories and subcategories

Suppose I need to come up with a reporting table, and I have a structure where the main categories are "Mangoes," "Oranges," "Bananas," and "Apples," representing different types of fruits. Within each fruit category, I have subcategories or attributes, which are organized in pairs of columns. These pairs of columns consist of "Quantity sold (BBL)" and "Unit Price ($)"
(See the screenshot ), how can I present this information in Domo?

  • I would look into the Trellis Categories property on a bar chart. You can create a look like this with the categories, subcategories and attributes.

Domo also has a handy graphic on helping to choose different chart types depending on your data. You can reference it here: https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042935294?language=en_US

@lawiti I like the treemap pie and funnel chart. You can plug in different data points using tooltip fields/hover text options.
