Persistant filtering of data per Dashboard

I am exporting a number of Dashboards that I am embedding into various pages of client websites.

Each dashboard runs off of the same data set with a column that identifies the clientId. At present I am duplicating Many dashboards with cards and editing each card to filter the data with the clientId.

What I would prefer is to share the cards (without a filter) amongst multiple Dashboards and to filter the Dashboard as a whole with the clientId that propagates through to the cards on the page

When adding filter views to the Dashboard… it would seem that these do not persist and require re-setting each visit. This gives me the risk of exposing the whole dataset a a whole to the clients when embeding the dashboards.

Is there a way of persisting a filter on a Dashboard… that is in effect consistently.
