Difference between excel plugin and excel addin.

When using the excel add from the excel windows store the domo content would disconnect and I would have to reconnect to the domo database to refresh it. Will the plugin provide a better experience?

    The Domo For Office add-in that is now available in the Microsoft AppSource should provide you a better experience. It allows for writing data back to Domo as well as writing data to Excel. Setup should be a one-time process to get yourself authenticated to your Domo instance.

  • What are the typical reasons why the domo content will disconnect? Changing the table name and deleting a cell value are two causes I run into.

    Should I have any other data on the same sheet as the domo content? Where can I find best practices?
