Weekly chart showing dates that aren't correctly aggregated

A Domo user ran into an issue while creating a chart.
Their problem:
I have a chart plotted by week, which shows some dates which aren't correctly aggregated (always with a value of zero). I checked the underlying dataset and couldn't find anything special with the rows on these dates. Has anyone seen this before or an idea, what might cause this?
The solution:
Use the "Tiered Dates" chart properties.
