List of Months between two dates

Hi All,

I am trying to create a Magic ETL V2.0 that lists the name of the months in between a hire and termination date for employees. I want to create a bar chart of number of employees who are active and terminated within a given months time.

i.e. Hired: 5/1/2022 and Terminated: 8/31/2022.

Months active = May 2022, June 2022, July 2022 and August 2022.

Terminated = September 2022, October 2022, etc.

I have created a list of dates report to join my employee hired and term dates already.

If you really wanted to generate the name of the month and year as text in your ETL, you can use the formula tile to do this. Your formula would look like this:

DATE_FORMAT(`ActiveDate`,'%M %Y')

However, if you leave the date as an actual date, in Analyzer, you can use the custom date format option in the field.
