Getting a total for group and stacked bar graph
Hi-
Probably a simple question, but for the life of me I can't find an answer. I have a group and stacked bar graph with 2 data points on the left bar and 4-5 on the right. I want to sum up all the data points per bar (ie the # on the top of each bar will be the sum of the parts) and not show any of the individual #s for other data points. I've tried various macros, but I can only seem to sum each data point. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Have you tried using a beast mode to calculate the total and then putting that into a tooltip and change your data label text to the Trollope value?

I did try that and I could get the total for 1 stacked bar to show but the total was displayed across both stacked bars.
As an example (see jpg) I would like to have bar #1 total be displayed and bar#2 total be displayed. Current jpg shows when I attempt to use the tooltip to show total it shows for each area of stacked bar.
