How to download an xlsx file from a URL

Has anyone ever managed to dowload an excel spreadsheet from a URL or even better achieved this with a parameter for the URL?
I have a need to download a file daily that changes its name each day and the file has a url on a web site - easy enough in my browser to click and download, rename and use workbench but that requires me to manually intervene.

Hi There,
Depending on the file size (>25mb) and your specific setup, you may want to look at using the Dataset via Email connector https://knowledge.domo.com/Connect/Connecting_to_Data_with_Connectors/Configuring_Each_Connector/Connectors_for_File_Retrieval/DataSet_via_Email_Connector

Not 100% sure if this is achievable by Workbench natively, an option in the back pocket could be to have an automated script to visit the URL and download the file into a directory which then Workbench can consume
