Viewing Date as a tree structure in the Filter
Hello Guys,
I want to add a Date filter to a dashboard. This filter needs to be as a tree strucutre with hierarchical data.
(Year->Quarter->Month)
How to implement this?
I know of a work around using 3 seperate filter to achieve the same functionality. but would be interested to know other approach as well.
Regards,
Rohil

I did something like this by aggregating the data in dataset. What I mean is appending the aggregation of Monthly data with aggregation of Quarterly and then with Yearly.
For example:
Select Date , sum(Revenue) as Revenue, 'Month' as Granularity
union
Select Date , sum(Revenue) as Revenue, 'Quarter' as Granularity
union
Select Date , sum(Revenue) as Revenue, 'Year' as Granularity
Then use the Granularity field as your filter
