Bar Graph Hover Labels Not Lining Up

Hello, I have a basic bar graph that looks as expected when I do not hover over a bar, but when I do hover, the total shows up in dark grey and a portion of the total extends out past the graph on the right. How can I fix the alignment and color of the totals? Thanks!

    The font color of the data label cannot be changed but you can tick the "Fill" option in the Data Label Settings in Properties. Also, the bar color you've got isn't a user friendly one. Try to change that too to a lighter shade since you want the data labels (Total) to be readable.
