Google Analytics Realtime Connector

I am trying to create a card that reads realtime GA activity data. The DOMO connector states that: "Google Analytics Realtime keeps you up on site or app activity as it happens. Reports update continuously and each hit is recorded within seconds. Use Domo's Google Analytics Realtime Connector to stay up to date and monitor current site metrics."

 

However, I can't find a way to get it to update in real time. Instead the lowest frequency I can get with the scheduler is every 15 mins.

 

Am I missing something, or is the description misleading?

The connector will not pull in data more often than every 15 minutes. The difference in these to connectors is the API end point that they are using from Google's side. 

The standard connector uses the core Analytics api. Google specifies in the documentation for this api that they do not guaranteed for 48 hours this means even if you are running the dataset in Domo ever 15 mintues it doesn't mean the Current data will be incomplete.

The realtime connnector is called that because it uses the realtime API that the connectoer calls on this api is specifcally designed to help access data immediately. That way you can pull in the data every 15 minutes and know that it is all of the needed data that has populated.
