Cannot Change "Hint" Values on Cards

I am trying to edit the value that shows up when I hover over an item in the legend of a card (first screenshot below).

 

The value that shows when I hover over the Series Name in the Legend is defaulted to "[X-Axis Value] : [Y-Axis Value]". It appears that this is being driven by the "Hints" option under Chart Properties...Frustrating because I cannot make any changes to that and do not want to swap my X-Axis to accomplish the hover experience I would like (screenshot below). 

 

The screenshot above happens when I hover over the bubble, not the legend value. Very confusing for users. HELP!

I don't think you can have the option to change the "Hints" field.  I would suggest hiding the hints if it is causing confusion.

 

This would be a good feature request though.
