Adding Third Variable to Cards

I have created a stacked bar chart representing tasks completed by two separate parties. I would also like to be able to show the total number of tasks (a.k.a. sample size for each instance). I cannot seem to find a way to include this third variable. Below I have included two screenshots showing my chart in Domo and what I am trying to accomplish done in Tableau. Please let me know if there is a work around for this.

If I understand correctly, you want to show three data points: tasks by party 1; tasks by party 2; and total tasks (party 1 + party 2 + others).
There are a few different ways you could do this, and the best method really depends on how you want to visualize it. One option is to use a different kind of chart. Check out this link for documentation of each of the various chart types: http://knowledge.domo.com?cid=chartbuilding. In paticular, check out the Stacked Bar with Line: http://knowledge.domo.com?cid=stackedbarwithline.
Another possibility is to do some data prep in a Beast Mode calculation. Use a CASE statement to identify when the record is entity 1, entity 2, or other. Something like this would work:
CASE
WHEN `party` = 1 then 'Party 1'
WHEN `party` = 2 then 'Party 2'
ELSE 'All Others'You could then use this Beast Mode column as the Series in your stacked bar chart with count of tasks as the Y value.
Hope that gets you going in the right direction.
Best,
Dan
