Month Name as Text

How can i format a date to Month Name as have it as Text not Date?

Reason why I ask is because I am creating a table in Domo that is going to have a Grand Total Row, as per a previous topic of mine, the Grand Total Row will have a calulation for percentage.

 

So what I need to do is convert the Month Name into a text field so I can append the Grand Total Row to it. Hope that makes sense.

You should be able to use something like this:

MONTHNAME(`datecolumn`)

Example: MONTHNAME('2018-05-20') would return 'May' as the result.
