Is there a way to tag a person in a Buzz thread without it becoming a Private thread?

Right now when I @ someone the thread immediately becomes a private thread. I'd like to keep the thread public so everyone can share in the discussion, but @ someone if I want to direct information to them.

    @user06681 You are correct, when you mention someone with the @ mention tag, Buzz automatically makes the conversation private.  However, if you just toggle that option off, then all users with access to the card should be able to see the message:1.png
