The Analytics & Business Intelligence Specialist is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level analytics professional to join a highly visible & impactful team in a global organization. 

 

You will be the primary contact to onboard & train new analytics users & work in close collaboration with analytics colleagues, digital colleagues, stakeholders & senior management from many functions across the company, to help identify business needs & propose creative & scalable solutions to transform our data into action, visualize the customer journey & create competitive advantages.  

 

Reports into the Global Director of Digital Business Insights.  Position is based out of Malvern PA.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage users & onboarding for our global digital intelligence operations
  • Provide first-level contact & support for global analytics platforms, including Domo & Adobe Analytics
  • Contribute to development of user trainings & user engagement strategies
  • Evangelize our analytics services & insights internally, to help grow our user base
  • Help translate business needs into technical requirements, create user stories with acceptance criteria & design actionable dashboards
  • Design dashboards that deepen our stakeholders’ & leadership’s understanding of our customers & deliver actionable insights to deliver business results
  • Help assure the quality & integrity of datasources across channels
  • Develop/refine SQL queries; help design databases, stored procedures, reports/dashboards & dataset interfaces/API

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, & Experience

 

  • BA/BS  in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or any related field
  • Experience in business intelligence and/or analytics is preferred over any degree specialty
  • Proficient in data collection, aggregation, manipulation and transformation, relational modeling, de-duplication, data normalization, etc
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Microsoft Excel and/or SQL writing experience (or equivalent college coursework)
  • Able to translate complex topics into simple terms & data into insights; excellent written, verbal & visual communication skills
  • Proven track record of customer service orientation
  • Enjoy solving puzzles, self-motivated to learn new technologies & evolving best practices
  • Enjoy contributing to a collaborative & productive team dynamic
  • Willing to travel domestically & internationally (10% or less)

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, & Experience

  • Experience with Domo and/or other BI platform/s highly preferred
  • Experience managing marketing communications data (Adobe Analytics, Eloqua, DoubleClick, LinkedIn and/or other enterprise-level platform/s) highly preferred
  • Experience training & managing new users highly preferred
  • Experience making data-driven recommendations to deliver strategic or operational improvements highly preferred
  • Experience working in a large & matrixed organization preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (eg healthcare, finance) preferred
