Beastmode to Group All Months into a Total Month

Hello,

I'm trying to use a multi-line chart where I already have my years broken out but want to have the months be seperate but also have a total.  Can you please let me know what I am doing wrong in this beastmode.  It "validates" but the "Total" never shows up:

(CASE
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) = 1) THEN MONTHNAME(`Start/Invoice Date`)
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) = 2) THEN MONTHNAME(`Start/Invoice Date`)
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) = 3) THEN MONTHNAME(`Start/Invoice Date`)
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) = 4) THEN MONTHNAME(`Start/Invoice Date`)
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) = 5) THEN MONTHNAME(`Start/Invoice Date`)
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) = 6) THEN MONTHNAME(`Start/Invoice Date`)
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) = 7) THEN MONTHNAME(`Start/Invoice Date`)
WHEN (month(`Start/Invoice Date`) =

You would need to do this at the ETL level. With the BeastMode Case statement, each line goes from the top down until it find a bucket to fall into. Once it's in a bucket, it doesn't go down any further. So since you have all of your months already broken up nothing is reaching  your total line.

Using an ETL before you get to the card level you should be able to summarize by month as well as create a new record for total.

    Hope this helps,
