Randomly Displaying a Field
I'm trying to solve for a problem and am not sure how to do it. Haven't been able to find anything about it and none of us can figure out how to hack it together.
I'm looking to do the following:
- Take a data set that has only text in it
- Display a random row out of that data set in presentation mode on a TV
The way that I tried is to do the following:
- Add a rand() beast mode calculation
- Sort by that rand() calculation
- Display.
Regretfully, it doesn't look like rand() refreshes each time the card is cycled to.
Anyone have suggestions?
