Is it possible to create interaction between d3.js visual and Domo Chart

Hi! I am looking to the possibility to create a custom visual app. So basically I will have a map built on top of D3.js and then I have several cards with some charts for relevant metrics. I want to have some interaction between the US map and Domo charts like clicking on certain city map will filter the data in chart corresponding to the selected city (like cross filtering). Is it possible to make this interaction work with Dev Studio ?
Let me know if anyone has similar experience
