Disable/Hide Tiles
Sometimes when in development I have a need to hide/disable a tile or group of tiles that I am working on but have a need to run the flow in order to check other things but the flow won't run until all tiles are configured correctly. Sometimes I don't want to complete the tile (maybe it is having errors) and I need to troubleshoot other things first but I don't want to lose the work I have done on the tile. Having the capability to disable it or hide it from processing would greatly help in development.

Formatting Multiple Summary Numbers with Commas
Problem
To build summary numbers with multiple metrics, one needs to use the CONCAT operator, which converts the entire output to a string. This means that numbers won’t contain comma’s. In this case, a solution is needed to dynamically add comma’s to these numbers based on their length.
For example, in the Summary Number below the first number has no commas. The second number being a percentage is easier to handle because it is rounded to one decimal precision and never needs a comma because it never exceeds the hundreds.

Desired output:

Solution
- Find the Length of the Number
- Break it into appropriate comma blocks
- Concatenate commas between the blocks.
For example, a four-digit number is in the thousands and would have two sections: the first number followed by a comma and then the last three numbers: [1],[234]
This can be handling using a combination of LENGTH() to get the overall length of the number, ROUND() to remove decimal precision and SUBSTRING() to pick out the position of the characters you want to place in each comma block. In addition, it will need to be handled using nested CASE logic to identify each case and handle it appropriately. Lastly, it will be tied together with another CONCAT().
Code
Here is a sample of code that demonstrates how to format one metric up to hundreds of millions - 9 digits in length. Since you will have multiple summary numbers, you would need to do this for each numeric value in the summary number.
CASE
WHEN LENGTH(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))) = 9 -- 9 digits = hundreds of millions
THEN
CONCAT(
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),1,3), -- first comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)), 3,3), -- second comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),6,3) -- third comma block
)
WHEN LENGTH(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))) = 8 -- 8 digits = tens of millions
THEN
CONCAT(
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),1,3), -- first comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)), 2,3), -- second comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),6,3) -- third comma block
)
WHEN LENGTH(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))) = 7 -- 7 digits = millions
THEN
CONCAT(
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),1,1), -- first comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)), 2,3), -- second comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),5,3) -- third comma block
)
WHEN LENGTH(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))) = 6 -- 6 digits = hundreds of thousands
THEN
CONCAT(
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),1,3), -- first comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)), 4,3) -- second comma block
)
WHEN LENGTH(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))) = 5 -- 5 digits = tens of thousands
THEN
CONCAT(
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),1,2), -- first comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)), 3,3) -- second comma block
)
WHEN LENGTH(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))) = 4 -- 4 digits = thousands
THEN
CONCAT(
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)),1,1), -- first comma block
',',
SUBSTRING(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`)), 2,3) -- second comma block
)
WHEN LENGTH(ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))) < 4 -- < 4 digits = hundreds or less
THEN ROUND(SUM(`Measure Column`))
END
Using Existing Cards as Drilldowns
It would be incredible if we could have the option to choose an existing Card to use as a drilldown. Time and time and time again I have found myself creating the exact same drilldown from scratch that i JUST created on a different card. This would be a HUGE time saver!
Schedule reports expiration date
I've had scheduled reports expire and have to keep resetting the expiration date. Most of my reports I want to be ongoing and not expire. Could we have the option to not set an expiration date?

Share DataFlow (all input datasets)
It'd be great to have a Share Dataflow button which would allow users to share all of the input datasets with a user instead of having to track down all of the multiple dataset inputs and share each of those individually which is quite time consuming.

Re: "The Pivot Table is Only Showing Part of the Data" Error
Hi @Tow, it's likely that your pivot table has too many rows to process from the size of data being pulled in. In order to fully build the Pivot, the number of rows would need to be reduced.

Re: How to reactivate a dataflow disabled from inactivity?
Hi @user048760, there's more information around this here [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404652354583-DataFlows-Disabled-Due-to-Extended-Inactivity] but what could be happening is that the update is taking longer than expected, due to the size of data and/or joins, leading to a 'Failed while execution' message and then the dataset auto-disables.

Re: how to show a duplicate in a table graph
Hi @WorldWarHulk, going through 'Beast Mode Manager' [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042925474-Beast-Mode-Manager] is your best step for cleaning up your data as you may be highlighting an original beast mode among your duplicates (using Event time) which may not be used anymore whereas your duplicates are being used in other datasets. As time elapsed since first creating a beast mode isn't always correlated to inactive beast modes, using that table graph won't highlight whether your beast is still being used in a card or not.
