Re: What is the best way to find access to all the APIs that are made available by Domo ?
@jaeW_at_Onyx has compiled a pretty solid library of API endpoints. Here's a link to it:
Re: Date on a CSV as text to convert to a useable fate format
In MagicETL use the formula tile and create the following formula:
DATE(CONCAT(
-- Year
REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[^0-9]+',''),'-',-- Month
CASE WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Jan%' THEN '01'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Feb%' THEN '02'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Mar%' THEN '03'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Apr%' THEN '04'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'May%' THEN '05'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Jun%' THEN '06'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Jul%' THEN '07'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Aug%' THEN '08'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Sep%' THEN '09'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Oct%' THEN '10'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Nov%' THEN '11'
WHEN REGEXP_REPLACE(SummaryDate1, '[0-9]','') LIKE 'Dec%' THEN '12'
END,'-',
-- Day
LEFT(InspectionClosed,2)))

Re: Filtering Out Letter Values, Leaving Numeric Values
For those that don't like to use REGEX, you can use this function to quickly remove non-numeric characters:
STR_DIGITS(STR)Returns a new string consisting of only the digit characters in str in the order they appear.
Re: How to find all Flows(MySQL) that contain a specific string
@FXM32 Do the list-dataflow -i <dataflow_id> -f <FILE> flags
Re: How would I filter for Order Numbers that contain UN codes? While keeping all other part numbers
I'm noticing your formula should be !='' or >=1 to get the non-empty results.
It's also possible in addition to an empty string, you could have a string comprised of white spaces, which would have a length greater than 0 and not be equal to ''
''
vs.
' '
To account for that, I think wrapping your code in TRIM() should remove any invisible extra spaces that might be in that column.
Adapting @ColemenWilson's answer, you could do something like:
CASE
WHEN `UN Number` IS NOT NULL THEN 'Include'
WHEN trim(`UN Number`) <> '' then 'Include'
ELSE 'Exclude'
END
Re: Google Analytics advanced connector not working
Potential reasons….
- Permissions Issue: Ensure that the Google account you're using to connect to Google Analytics through Domo has the necessary permissions to access the views in Google Analytics. You need to have at least "Read & Analyze" access at the view level.
- Data Availability: Make sure that there is data available in the Google Analytics views you're trying to connect to Domo. If there's no data available in those views, Domo won't be able to display them.
- Connector Configuration: Double-check the configuration of the Google Analytics advanced connector in Domo. Ensure that you've selected the correct Google Analytics property and view IDs during the setup process.
- Compatibility: Confirm that the Google Analytics advanced connector in Domo supports the type of Google Analytics account you're using. While Domo typically supports connecting to Google Analytics accounts, there could be limitations or compatibility issues with certain types of accounts or specific features like GA4.
- Technical Issues: It's possible that there could be technical issues with the Domo platform or the connector itself. In such cases, you may need to reach out to Domo's support team for assistance.
Re: Getting "Domo is ready, but the requested file does not exist." for Excel file
Do you have a shared files master list dataset for onedrive that shows every file that has been shared? This has helped us many times in troubleshooting these types of errors. Use the OneDrive for business connector and select the Shared Items report type. Then look through the data and see if your file is there. If not, it has not been shared properly. If it is, copy and paste the name directly from the data table into the "Shared File Name" box in your other OneDrive connector.
Re: API Partitioning
Thanks @ArborRose . So yes, I didn't know it was that easy in the ETL. Basically I wanted to use the API endpoint to partition the way Workbench does. I wanted to push data into Domo and if there was overlapping data, for it not to be duplicated. Also, if there was additional data, to append. So now what I am doing to solve that is to just use the replace on the API endpoint and I've created a ETL where the output is using a partition. It works perfectly.
