Re: Make the Flex Table the GOAT chart
One additional change that could be done on the Flex table is this:
Allow to reverse the colour direction for each field individually, because now you can only reverse the colour direction for the whole table at once. For example if you have revenue and cost in one flex table, one should be green as it increase and the other should be red, which is not supported currently in the flex tables.

Magic ETL Field Search Tile Highlight Enhacement
While I do love the new Magic ETL field name search, what would make it even better is if there were a way to highlight the tiles where the searched field is actually modified (vs. just passing through). It might just be me, but if you would find this useful, give this idea some love :)

Option to add prefix in Magic ETL Joins
The Pandas library and Power Query have this option, it's the option to add the table name as a prefix when joining tables. Huge benefits when working with system-generated datasets for example that can have 40+ columns with similar names in each table.
The workarounds mentioned here don't quite cut it - if you're used to this feature.

Heatmap Tables in AppStudio
The basic Mega Table card has come a long way from when it was first released. One of these improvements has been the ability to color the columns as a heatmap (with lots of other settings within). In the card details page, it is basically a perfect implementation. However, when you put your card into AppStudio, it automatically assumes you want to use your theme colors and overwrites the more logical, red/green color palette that so many users know and love. Depending on the them of your app, you can get all sorts of illogical colors that don't tie back to the actual data you are showing. Down -8% YoY?, sure lets make that dark green.
I'd love a checkbox or some other functionality that allows you to 'lock' the colors of your table (including heatmap) instead of overriding with the appstudio them colors.
Flip Y Axis in Analyzer for Negative Numbers (i.e. "spikes in shrink")
• Customers who deal often with negative numbers (think merchandise loss prevention and spikes in 'shrink') need a way to represent negative numbers and their respective increases/decreases because of the potential for these negative numbers to become positive.
• Currently, using bar charts doesn't allow a way for users to retain negative number quantities and still have the bars themselves accurately represent their increases and decreases over time.
• Customers have to rely on complex BeastModes to get the visual to work the way they want.
• Requesting that we add functionality in Analyzer to allow users to simply flip the Y Axis between positive and negative - similar to how Excel will allow you to flip/invert your charts.
Here is example of using BeastMode to 'trick' visual into working: Issue is when anything at a more granular level etc. goes positive, it adds negative still “–“
If BeastMode is not used to 'trick' the chart into keeping accurate negative/positive representations, it comes out this way (undesirable):
Update Date Selector "Chart Type" to Match Global Date Range Selector
<Please direct me to an existing feature request if exists, the closest I could fine was a 'need help' linked below>
We are currently using Domo Everyone embed and are limited with our date filter options.
The current date selector is clunky and limited. I have to use a ton of dashboard space to get it to look just OK. The font sizes and layout just look inconsistent with our other (dropdown) filters.
So I will suggest that there could be a date selector - or even a date selector 'mode' in addition to 'presets' and 'calendar' that matches the global filter exactly. Just a large dropdown with lots of options. See screenshot here:
Note: The workaround suggested by other users on similar request to use a text variable and a radio button control with custom presets is sub-optimal as well. This just creates another large card if you populate anything past 3-4 preset options. Not to mention all the complicated calculated fields/ beast modes needed.
This request is very similar to this 'need help' post:
More flexible chart labeling options
It would be amazing if we could get more flexibility for chart labeling. I'm talking about the ability to choose font sizes on a numeric scale, the ability to insert text boxes on the card, and the ability to modify labels on the fly. There's prob more out to add to this list. Currently, I find I'm forced to export the data from the card to excel in order to gain more control over the visual output. (gasp!)

Data Flows - Testing Use Case Filters
Use Case:
When building data flows with data sets in millions of rows, it's hard to test if the logic works across those rows unless I add filter tiles that filter out data at specific points during the Data Flow build process. This can add complexity when adding many test cases at specific points.
The Idea:
It would be ideal to have a drop-down next to the preview button to add a predefined series of filters based on the input data sets. So you would select a dropdown that contains the list of the data inputs you have brought into the Data Flow, and then you can build your filters of those inputs and save them as "Test Case - Northern America Only" for example. Then, when updates are made to that data flow in the future, you can re-use those testing filters.
App Studio - Allow more than one user to edit at a time
As an App Studio Designer
I want to edit an app with my team
In order to create better apps for my stakeholders
Background:
Working as part of a large team of talented Domo designers, it is challenging to work in App Studio even within a team of two to three people on an App Studio App due to this limitation. If this is to be scalable, there needs to be a way for multiple people to be able to edit an App Studio App at the same time.
Add Text Alignment Controls to Card Elements (Title, Description, Summary Number)
As a dashboard designer using App Studio,
I want to be able to center or right-justify the Title, Description, and Summary Number elements,
so that I can better align the visual presentation of data with my design preferences and layout requirements.
In the example below, I received a request to center the Title and Summary Number elements (indicated by arrows). However, App Studio currently does not offer alignment options for these elements.
To achieve the desired layout, I would need to:
Break the content into multiple card types
Add additional cards
Manually adjust spacing and layout
This workaround not only complicates the design but also disrupts the visual simplicity and consistency of the dashboard.
Having built-in options to center or right-align these elements would significantly improve design flexibility and reduce the need for unnecessary layout workarounds.
