Re: GA4 Sessions & Total Users Ingesting Incorrectly
Due to design decisions by Google the exported data won't align with the exact numbers from the UI. It will show you the same directionality of you data however.
Here's some helpful articles on GA4 and sampling:
Re: GA4 Sessions & Total Users Ingesting Incorrectly
I figured out a workaround to this.
I am bringing in GA4 data in multiple datasets. I figured out that there is a unique key that Google uses to join tables in GA that doesn't come through Domo, without that key numbers get inflated very quickly. There are some metrics that can be brought in together with out issue because they come from the same table, but if you have to cross tables thats where issues come in. I found that the "Categories" in the connector are pretty much the tables, so as long as you don't try to bring in data from multiple categories, its accurate. I found that items in the Time category can be brought in with any other fields without issues.
@sarahdoesdomo I hope this solutions helps.
Re: RANK Issues
@Marie_Serrano Your logic is sound, but it is likely not working because Domo does not allow you to filter by beast modes that use window functions. I suggest sorting your card by COUNT(DISTINCT `SHIPMENT_NUMBER__TKNUM`) and using the Limit Rows function in Analyzer to only show the top 10
Re: Displaying a Blank chart
Depending on your data, you could a beast mode that's like
case when count(product) = 1 then 'Show' else 'Hide' end
and then filter the card to "show" and it should only show data when 1 product is selected.
Scheduling workbench jobs with a batch file and windows task scheduler
Hi, one of the questions I got yesterday was around scheduling workbench or other jobs using windows scheduler vs. the scheduler built into workbench.
- See my reply for the solution.
Re: Custom Chart - Customizing the Legend Values / Displayed Names
I would consider splitting this task over two charts in a dashboard then. Place your custom map on one side and then add a table card that lists the counties along with the value next to it.
Re: Custom Chart - Customizing the Legend Values / Displayed Names
I can't think of a way, or fully understand the use case, for getting the legend of this chart to display the county names. In your example, there are at least two counties with a value of 2 and several with one. Are you saying you want to see the legend simply list every county?
Depending on your use case, I would recommend putting either a filter card next to this map or a table card with the name of each county.
What is your ultimate goal in listing out the county names in the legend?
