Re: Mass Alias Column Names
If you drag and hold your mouse over multiple tiles you can choose the Copy to Clipboard option. You can then paste that into any text editor as it is just JSON data. You could then look at the structure of the alter tile and select columns tile to see which would be easier to mass edit outside of Domo and then paste back into your ETL.
Re: Page filter add contains + allows "ORs"
This post deserves a monthly bump until taken into development queue. Anytime my user base wants to do an OR filter I have to create it via beast mode so they can leverage as a page filter. Not an ideal solution and fully hardcoded so no flexibility. Page filtering where we can use the OR qualifier should be a priority for the product team. I love what Domo is doing with new advanced tools and new products but we've got to have this base functionality.
Re: Update values on visuals based on a filter value calling an API and returning an API response
It sounds like you want a custom app that you can do and have control over the different sliders on your app to then trigger an event to call your ML model API. You can't call an API from directly within a card.
You can read up more on custom apps here:
Re: Fix HTTP 413 Errors when logging into multiple instances
The solution we have been told for years has been to 'just have different email addresses for each instance.' That is so unworkable for consultants that it's not even funny!
How sweet would it be if any instance where your user id is the same email, it used the same password? Basically the opposite of how it is now.
THEN…What if that also informed Salesforce so that you could open tickets in any instance you have access to! Living the dream!
Re: Filtering Out Letter Values, Leaving Numeric Values
For those that don't like to use REGEX, you can use this function to quickly remove non-numeric characters:
STR_DIGITS(STR)Returns a new string consisting of only the digit characters in str in the order they appear.
Re: How to find all Flows(MySQL) that contain a specific string
Hi @FXM32,
I believe you can accomplish this using the Java CLI and "List-dataflow" command. This will get you a JSON export that should contain all the SQL statements contained within the dataflow.
Re: Installing R Packages in Jupyter rstatix
I think I found a solution (at least for rstatix), but hopefully this helps with others as well:
A dependency of a lot of R packages is the 'nloptr' package (including rstatix), which in turn requires 'cmake'. I believe cmake should be available on the operating system already, but for some reason the Jupyter environment can't see it. I was able to install cmake using a terminal with this:
pip install cmake
Then, I was able to run install.packages('rstatix') in a notebook. This took over 5 minutes to execute.
Also, throughout the troubleshooting process, I had to "restore kernel defaults" a bunch of times. I would know I needed to do this because I would try installing a package like ggplot2 that I was able to install before, but would get an error. You should definitely start with this, and then if something doesn't work, do it again.
Re: Firebase file size limits?
I’d recommend logging a ticket with Domo support as they own the connector and can help diagnose your issue in greater detail
