Domo Feature Request: Allowing Users to Promote a Repository that contains locked beastmodes
We have many beastmodes that are locked on cards. Thus, only admins, beastmode owners, or those with "Manage All Cards and Pages" and "Manage DataSets" grants enabled. We are running into issue where users are unable to promote to our production environment because they don't fit into one of the three above categories. We want to enable departments to promote content that contains locked beastmodes, but we don't want them to have the ability to edit them or have access to manage all of our datasets.
Preview Window Limits in Magic ETL
There is currently a 100 rows preview window limit when you do the preview run on the ETL. We need to increase this as it can help drastically with further work in the MagicETL.
Magic ETL Checklist Enhancement Idea
Hello,
It would be helpful if we had the option to add items to the Magic ETL Checklist. This would allow for each organization to be able to make sure everyone is designing their ETLs per their procedure/guidelines.
For example, if we are requiring the designers to 'label' all tiles, then we could add a checklist item; 'Label tiles accordingly'
Also, if there was a way for these additional checklist items to be checked off by the user, that would be great!
The checklist is great to have, but if we had the ability to add to the list, it would help when we have newer folks design and follow procedure/guidelines.
In addition to having 'checklist' items, could we also use this section for like 'hint' items or extra items we want to always show. For Example, how we are labeling the DataFlow/DataSet.
This is the current Magic ETL Checklist we are seeing now, for reference:
Undo
Is there a way after deleting cards or pages to undo or restore? without having to rebuild them.
Being Able to Change Default Colors
In the visualization features either in the analyzer or in the dashboards themselves many companies use branded colors that match their business models. When initially creating a rule, yeah you can share it on the dataset, but in certain circumstances the color rules may get changed in different dashboards.
Currently to get these colors in your dashboards/visualizations you have to manually type the hex code over and over. It would be supper helpful if there were a feature that allows custom colors to appear when you go to edit in analyzer / dashboards or changing of those default colors to allow businesses to have easier access to the colors they use for marketing purpose.
This would enhance the user experience by allowing visualizations and dashboards to have easier access to their business model and what they want both their employees and customers to see.
App Studio: Share Page as PDF
Similiar to traditional dashboards, a prospect has suggested the ability to share App Studio Pages as PDF's.

Domo Office Add-In - Relative Date Filters
Hi, the legacy version of the plug-in that our users are widely used to had the ability to do relative date filtering. Unfortunately, the new version does not include this functionality and is hindering our effort to get users to upgrade. Please enhance the new add-in by adding relative date filtering.

Ability to Export / Import Custom Themes in AppStudio
Allow users the ability to Export and Import their Custom Themes from AppStudio as a file
This would Allow:
Custom themes to be portable across instances.
If the file were readable text (JSON/YAML/Markdown) it would allow efficient edits via text editor/script, and sharing via code blocks in forums / Slack
Magic ETL Tiles groups for clearer organization and visibility/observability :D :D :D
Although similar to the "Allow users to specify the color of Magic ETL tiles",
we sometimes (okay, often) have extremely long and complex Magic ETL's that are difficult to comprehend, especially if you're inheriting them or exploring for replication or use. Being able to "group" your tiles in some fashion would greatly enhance our ability to understand what each "branch" or section intends to do (think "remove PII section", "split by product for vertical-specific logic", "add dimensions", etc). If these "groups" had descriptions for the groups or even titles/headers for additional clarity and metadata, that would be a significant boost.
I think pairing this with the color of Magic ETL Tiles would allow lots of customizability for organizations to help ease the burden of trying to understand a complex Magic ETL, reducing time spent on troubleshooting, or even documentation.
here's an example from Count for their metric trees template
and an example of how i document processes/ETL's using Lucid:
Adding Links to Card Descriptions (Rich Text Editor)
Currently, card descriptions only support basic text and smart text. It would be incredibly useful to be able to put rich text links inside of a card description. These could be links to other items in Domo or to external sites. I imagine this working very similar to how notebook cards currently handle adding rich text links to their content. The ability to add other rich text features would also be incredibly useful, like ordered and unordered lists, now that descriptions can be multiple lines.
