To set the background image for a Page,
- On the Page you want to change the background color of, select Edit Dashboard in the
menu in the top right corner of the Page.
- In the Options menu at the top of the screen, select Change background.
- (Conditional) If Color Fill is selected in the menu at the top of the dialog, choose Image Fill.
- Click Choose Image.
- Locate and select your image on your machine.
- (Optional) To change the default background color (which is only used before the image has loaded on the Page), click Change then choose the new color from the palette (or enter a hexadecimal code in the field at the bottom of the palette).
- (Optional) To change the default text color used on the Page, select the new color in the menu under "Default text color."

Re: Convert text to date
@ozarkram It looks like you just need to cast your result to a date rather than datetime like this:
CAST(STR_TO_DATE(`MFGDTE`,'%Y-%m-%d') as DATE)

Re: Filter multiple months by specific days of the month
Thanks to you both. These didn't get me where I needed to be HOWEVER they did provide enough info/context to figure it out. As it turns out it was even simpler and only required the DAYOFMONTH ('datecolumn'). Then I setup the beast mode as a range filter and it's perfect.
Re: Filter multiple months by specific days of the month
they only thing out of the box that would handle this correctly is doing a year to date selection. What I recommend is to configure your own date offset dataset to do a more apples to apples comparison. I’ve written up on this method before https://dojo.domo.com/main/discussion/53481/a-more-flexible-way-to-do-period-over-period-comparisons#latest
Re: Filter multiple months by specific days of the month
You can actually do this quite easily with beast mode to ensure that you are only showing the same amount in each month.
(CASE when DAYOFMONTH(`date`) <= DAYOFMONTH(CURRENT_DATE()) THEN 'Include' ELSE 'Exclude' END)
You can then drag this beast mode into your filters and filter on Include. You can let your date range be whatever time period you want, and this beast mode will filter out dates that are past whatever day in the month it is for previous months.
Hope this helps.
Re: Smarttext showing actual dates used
@Jones01 Do you have this box checked in your card? I believe the date must be visible in order to be affected by the global date filter.
Re: Smarttext showing actual dates used
@Jones01 You can customize your summary number by wrapping it in a CONCAT() function like the examples in this article: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043430093-Sample-Beast-Mode-Calculations-Card-Element-Transforms#4.
Here is an example of what that could look like:
CONCAT(DATE_FORMAT(MIN(`Date`),'%m/%d/%y'),' - ',DATE_FORMAT(MAX(`Date`),'%m/%d/%y'))
Re: Can this be built with a card and beast mode without pre aggregating
I'm not sure what chart type you are using, but I believe I was able to do this with three beastmodes. One to get the name of the day and another to capture the hour from your datetime field.
HOUR:
HOUR(`DateField`)
Week Day:
DAYNAME(`DateField`)
Avg Total Count:
AVG(SUM(`Count`)) FIXED (BY day(`DateField`))
You can then see the average total for any day of the week. You can also filter to only include certain hours or only values between certain dates.
Re: Calculating Summary Level Average of a Calculated Field
@RanjitR - you could always try the new FIXED function in beastmodes now.
AVG(SUM(`CY_TRANSACTION`) / COUNT(DISTINCT `STORE_ID`)) FIXED (BY `YEAR_PERIOD_WEEK`)
