Re: Need to calculate the difference between two dates with proper date format
You can use the SPLIT_PART function and CONCAT function to build this. It would look something like this:
CONCAT(
split_part(Time,' ',1),' days ',
RIGHT(split_part(Time,':',1),2),' hours ',
split_part(Time,':',2),' minutes ',
split_part(split_part(Time,':',3),'.',1),' seconds '
)
You would need to add additional case logic if you didn't want the days to show if there were no days.
Hope this helps.
Re: Need to see which connectors are currently connecting
Its not a dashboard solution but one feature I always overlook is the data warehouse tab in the datacenter. It is very easy to see all connectors and what is having issues, its also super ways to rerun things right from there instead of having to go directly to the dataset.

Re: Connecting to domo.js in React app not working
Just wanted to post back here that my issue has been resolved.
Apparently, I had everything setup correctly but I was not importing domo correctly into the app. I had the import set as import { domo } from 'ryuu.js'; , which was failing to recognize it. I didn't know that domo was exported as default so it should have been import domo from 'ryuu.js'; (without the curly braces). Once I included that import correctly, the connection to domo worked.
Thanks for the responses.

Re: How to stop a dashboard's background change from impacting charts
I see what you mean in the series for the non-hovered bars in the series. I would start with a support ticket and see if they acknowledge it as a bug. If you don't have any luck with that, I would submit it as an enhancement in the Ideas Exchange and see if it gets incorporated into the future.
Glad you are enjoying my videos and thanks for becoming a subscriber!
Re: Need to see which connectors are currently connecting
This can be done a few different ways.
- "DataSets History" report in Domostats. Has the full history for all connectors including:
- Run status
- Execution Type
- Number of API calls
- Updated Rows
- Even Bytes inserted
- If you don't need that much detail or a full history, you can use the "Datasets report" in Domostats which will return the most recent data for each connector:
- Last run date
- Run status
- Import type
- Etc…
- Domo Governance "datasets" report
- really similar to the "datasets report" from Domostats above.

Re: Calculate the average normalized score in Beast Mode
The FIXED function can be used to get the MAX score on a product basis:
MAX(MAX(Total Skill Score) FIXED(BYProduct))
The normalized Score could be calculated as
Total Skill Score/MAX(MAX(Total Skill Score) FIXED(BYProduct))
I'm concerned you're trying to get data at multiple aggregation levels and if you want to do that on a single chart this will be really complex, up to point 5 you're running this by employee, but then you want to run this by Product Group. All this sound doable with the FIXED formula as a Beast Mode, should it be responsive to filters applied to the card, if you want the MAX to be always from the full dataset, then I'd suggest you go with an ETL that will use a Group By Tile and Joins to add the Max Product Score and Max Product Group Score as additional columns to the dataset so you can operate with them with easier formulas once working on the cards themselves.
Re: Calculate the average normalized score in Beast Mode
I was able to do this in magic ETL.
First, use the group by tile to get the max skill score for each product:
Second, join that data back to your input data on product:
Third, use the formula tile to calculate the normalized score:
Then, in a card you can create a beastmode to get your average normalized score:
I am a bit confused on your final metric, what does that tell decision makers? Not sure what is being measured there.
