Re: How do I aggregate a Beast Mode to a number rather than a case statement?
What aggregation is the field using? Click on the pencil icon next to the field in the card and choose Sum for aggregation.
Re: How do I aggregate a Beast Mode to a number rather than a case statement?
In your 2nd statement, don't put your quotes around your numbers, that will make them strings. Try this instead:
(CASE WHEN `CustomerName` LIKE'%AGRODEX INTERNATIONAL SAS%' THEN .14 wHEN `CustomerName` LIKE'%ALTURISA GUATEMALA%' THEN .14 WHEN `CustomerName` LIKE'%ANGLISS HONG KONG%' THEN 3 WHEN `CustomerName` LIKE'%BEN FOOD%' THEN 3.20 WHEN `CustomerName` LIKE'%BENISAND MERCHANDISING%' THEN 5 WHEN `CustomerName` LIKE'%BIGOS S DE RL%' THEN .15 ELSE 0 END)
You could put a SUM function around this if that is what you are trying to sum.
Re: Saved but incomplete. Cannot be run until all actions result in an output.
@pkp121 and @beatricetan21 this sometimes happens if you have a tile somewhere that is not configured. For me it usually happens when I try to paste tiles in from another dataflow and they go somewhere way in left field that I never notice. Try zooming out on your dataflow and checking if you have a random tile somewhere.

Re: How do we track if a date occurred within another date column?
I would create a beast mode to do this comparison:
CASE WHEN MONTH(columnA) = MONTH(columnB) and YEAR(columnA) = YEAR(columnB) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END
Then drag this field into your card and choose Sum for aggregation along with columnA and you should get your totals of when they are the same.
Re: How do we track if a date occurred within another date column?
I think you could just sum the results of a case statement
SUM(CASE WHEN DATE_FORMAT(DATE_1, '%b%y') = DATE_FORMAT(DATE_2, '%b%y') THEN 1 ELSE 0 END )
Re: Box advanced connector multiple excel files
Thanks! It's too bad you can't use a folder. It would save a lot of time.
Re: Overview Page for Participants
You can set a different landing page for your users if you're trying to have them log in to not a blank page? https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043439093-Setting-the-Landing-Page

Re: Convert String To Date Format
Do you have non-date data in this field? If not, when you are in the ETL you can select that input dataset and on the configuration tab, change the data type from text to Date (assuming that it is currently text). Domo should auto-format your dates to normalize this data for you. If this doesn't work for you, let me know and there are some beast mode things you can do, but this is the easiest solution.
Re: Snapshotting Data
Looks like I need to wake up earlier get my answers in before @amehdad :)
I agree with @amehdad but wanted to add some clarification - The MagicETL or MySQL recursive dataflows will allow you to filter possible duplicate records however the larger your dataset becomes the slower / less performant it becomes because there's more data that needs to be imported and read in.
Using Dataset Copy (with append) will be more performant as it's only appending the records to your dataset with less data to import and process however its processing will be detached from the underlying dataset you're appending. Meaning with the recursive dataset you can trigger it to run based on when the underlying dataset is updated however with Dataset Copy you have to run it at a certain time and have the possibility to have the Dataset Copy run before the underlying data has been updated.
In your use case you'll need to utilize a recursive DataFlow and not the Dataset Copy as you're needing to process the data to update the status and add a datetime when that status changed (removed from the original dataset)
Re: Pivot table issues
Hi @user031170
There's a 25k row limit on most card types except for Histograms and Box Plots (100k limit). See https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042924214-Card-Building-FAQs
Have you tried using a Sumo Table to do your pivot? Those have a higher row limitation and may allow you to chart your data properly.
