Re: Dataflow wont run!
usually if the dataflow isn't bugged (as @GrantSmith suggested), if the dataflow won't run it's b/c it's already running.
Re: Getting an error in visualizer
What I've done when I encounter this is open a new browser window and use the non-saving card as a guide to build the card again in the new window. This isn't perfect but helps you rebuild the card again much faster.
It may also be worth adjusting settings on the card one at a time and saving after every step. If my memory is correct, adjusting the timeframe in the top right of the card has sometimes been what's stopping the card from saving for me.
MySQL Version
I have been using MySQL ETL for years. Our organization is starting to work with more unstructured data every day. Domo's implementation of MySQL has been stuck on 5.6 for some time. It appears the current version is 5.6.28-76.1-56. Most of the new JSON Functions show up in version 5.7+. Is there any plan from the Domo team to get the underlying MySQL engine updated to a more current release?
Re: Snapshot Historical Data
You can do this via a recursive data flow - your daily update would be a replace dataset and you'd have a second dataset that has your 8 days historic data. You can refer to the kb article for details on building it out: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043428113-Creating-a-Recursive-Snapshot-Magic-ETL-DataFlow

Re: Using Python API to Update Already Created Datasets
@ElliotGitter it looks like in your old way you weren't actually using the id in your ds_update function - reading your code it looks like testdata is a dataframe (ds_get returns a dataframe, not an id), and that's why you were getting an error.

Re: Beast mode to extract the date based on a pattern
@ozarkram if your data has no consistency or pattern as to where the date is going to be, then it is going to be extremely difficult to construct the correct statement to extract it. If you can identify all the possibilities, then you might have a chance.
Seeking Visibility to Scheduled Report Recipients
I am seeking a way within Domo as an admin to see all of our scheduled report recipients within a single dataset. Anyone know how to do that?
Re: Scatter Chart Bubble Color
Great! If you can mark the answer as accepted, it will help others in the community that have the same question.

Re: Count amount of dates in a row
Hi @DataLawton -
@MarkSnodgrass is spot on. It really depends on what chart type you are using. If you need more help, please let us know what chart you want to display the info in and we may be able to provide some detailed screenshots.
Re: Count amount of dates in a row
It depends how you want to display the data, but at a basic level if you used a table card, drag in date of stay and market, then drag in market again and change the aggregation type to count. This would show you how many people stayed at each market on each day.
