Re: Auto-Hide Buzz on Default
Agree with this, it's the first thing I teach people when I run Domo trainings, it would be nice as an Admin to have a switch to keep it collapsed by default.
Re: Auto-Hide Buzz on Default
I love this idea. My users also don't like it when they have to clear their cookies and re-hide Buzz (especially users who access several instances). This would resolve that problem.

Re: Auto-Hide Buzz on Default
Completely agree. The button to hide Buzz is also not intuitive and I often have to show users how to collapse that panel
Re: Trigger a dataset update via python using a post call
I was able to figure this out. In case anyone needs it:
from pydomo import Domo from pprint import pprint domo = Domo(client_id, client_secret, api_host=api_host) dataset_id = xxxx streams = domo.streamsstream_list = streams.list(2000,0)
dataset_streams = [stream for stream in stream_list if stream['dataSet']['id'] == dataset_id]dataset_stream = dataset_streams[0]
pprint(dataset_stream)
dataset_stream_id = dataset_stream['id']
streams.create_execution(dataset_stream_id) print(dataset_stream_id )
Course Builder
I am noticing an issue with Course Builder when using SSO. I have SSO enabled in our instance and our computers have extra security features. When trying to publish from Course Builder I get an error saying there is a self-signed certificate. I have troubleshooted with both Domo Support (extensively) and my IT and we have come to the conclusion that either we need to locate this self-signed certificate and somehow whitelist it or Course Builder needs to be updated so that it does not use a self-signed certificate.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

Re: Workbench Job changing Date values
Do you have a transform in your Workbench job? Domo assumes UTC when pulling in the data and will then convert to your company time when viewing the dataset in Domo or in a visualization. If your source dataset is something other than UTC you'll want to configure a transform in your Workbench job to convert your timezone on your dates.
Re: Trouble connecting TikTok through email connector (Download directly from link in email)
Hey Grant,
Thanks for the answer! I think I figured it out. The download link goes to tiktok but then we have to be logged in for the automatic download to work -- therefore the email connector fails. Going to look into other connecting options!
Re: Allow users to manage financial year uploads
Great idea! I think it would be also helpful as part of this feature request to have the ability for multiple fiscal calendars. For example if you had a vendor or operational segment operating on a different fiscal calendar.
