Stop wasting time navigating menus, managing hundreds of identical browser tabs, copying dataset IDs from the URL, and constantly clearing your cookies. Domo Toolkit is designed for the people who live inside Domo every day—administrators managing hundreds of objects, consultants jumping between client instances, and power…

Ever wish you could easily delete a Beast Mode from the Beast Mode Manager? Or click a button to delete all cards on a page before deleting the page? Well now you can with bookmarklets! If you aren't familiar with bookmarklets (sometimes called favelets), they are browser bookmarks that run JavaScript code when clicked. I…

https://www.postman.com/brycewc/domo-product-apis I am launching my Postman collection of the Domo Product APIs to the public. This collection contains most endpoints and has been well documented using Postman's new types feature. I am joining Domo next week as the new MajorDomo and wanted this in the hands of the Domo…

I'm loving the new comments/sticky notes feature in Magic, including the ability to add hyperlinks. But, right now, you can only add a hyperlink and have it display as the entire URL. As URLs are often long, this causes you to either have very wide comments or forces you to have a scrollable comment. Ideally, you could…

Right now, the code block formatting in the community forum doesn't work well at all. It could really use an upgrade. Below I've listed all the issues I've run across while using it. Also, I understand that identifying exactly which type of code is in the code block can be difficult, leading to many of the issues seen…

I find myself not using the new feature to display a text column in a table as a link because it opens in the same tab. It would be nice if the default of this new feature was to open in a new tab, since I don't know anybody that would want to open it in the same tab anyway. Alternatively, you could add an option to open…

It would be very helpful to navigate the new history with Ctrl + Z and Ctrl + Y for Windows and Command + Z and Command + Shift + Z for MacOS for undo and redo actions.

Allow sticky notes to be two grid spaces tall and two wide (currently they can't be smaller than three tall and three wide). This would allow for notes the same size as tiles, which is great for placeholders.

Add a way to duplicate a sticky note. Having to restyle a note every time I create one is tedious. If I want the same style of note (which I often do), being able to duplicate and just change a few things like the text would be very convenient.

The colors for sections differ across the picker bar, the selected icon, and the section background. Not a huge thing TBH, but it does trip me up a bit when I don't get the same color I pick. The selected color icon I understand a bit more, as otherwise it would blend with the background.

Currently in Analyzer, number columns can be formatted as currency, allowing you to append one of 4 currency symbols to the beginning of the number in the chart. It would be incredibly useful to add a dynamic currency column option. Rather than having to select 1 currency symbol for the whole column, you could select…

Anyone else hate the new sort icons in analyzer? When Domo updated their icons last month across the platform, they deployed these new sorting icons in analyzer: To me, these icons make no sense. First, ascending means larger data as you go down, so the icon having smaller lines as it goes down is opposite, and vice versa…

Currently, Magic ETL v2 supports the aggregate function GROUP_CONCAT in its Group By tile. While clauses inside the GROUP_CONCAT function like DISTINCT and SEPARATOR are available, the ORDER BY clause doesn't work and causes the tile to fail. SQL DataFlows currently support using the GROUP_CONCAT function with the ORDER BY…

Currently, card descriptions only support basic text and smart text. It would be incredibly useful to be able to put rich text links inside of a card description. These could be links to other items in Domo or to external sites. I imagine this working very similar to how notebook cards currently handle adding rich text…

Currently, when copy and pasting Magic ETL tiles between flows, input tiles are scrubbed and become a plain input tile without a DataSet selected. I understand why you'd want to scrub this if pasted in the same flow, but it should be maintained when pasting in a different flow. This should be relatively easy to implement…

The Domo community job board is great. But it is just an infinite list of discussions that are job postings, without any way to see if a job is still available. This causes two problems: 1) Jobs that could still be hiring get buried by new job postings, decreasing the visibility for the hiring company. 2) When someone is…

Hello everyone! I am beginning to build out better data governance policies for my instance and documenting them for all users to see. I'm specifically struggling with policy and documentation around a user explaining why they need access to a particular resource, so the applicable approvers can make an informed access…

Currently, you can use the IF statement inside of DataFlows (both MySQL and Magic ETL v2). However, this function is not available in Beast Modes. Most CASE statements I write are small and simple enough (they only have two outputs) that I could write them in an IF statement. IF statements are simpler to write and take up…

Currently, you must open a DataFlow to the editing page (either MySQL or Magic ETL) in order to update the DataFlow name or description. This is tedious and requires a lot of extra clicks and loading time, especially with MySQL DataFlows. Currently, DataSets allow the editing of their name and description right from the…

Domo currently supports adding descriptions to edits/versions of a DataFlow. However, these descriptions are not required and thus are often easily ignored. It would be very nice to have an option to require these descriptions on an instance-wide basis. Descriptions are absolutely critical to understanding how a DataFlow…

Please add the functionality to filter search results to just ideas. If I am searching in the idea exchange, it currently shows everything, which makes it extremely hard to ensure the idea I have doesn't exist before posting it. The functionality already exists for some other filters like conversations, so this should be…

Right now, the alerts in Domo have very limited scheduling options. It would be incredibly useful to add more scheduling options, similar to DataSet/DataFlow run schedules. Quarterly would be nice, like last day of the quarter. And a certain number of days after trigger. Currently, the options are very limiting and they…
