HTML table cards do not have a 'Sorting' feature in the card settings. This setting is available in Mega and Pivot table cards.
This is a much overdue feature for a table card that can be quite versatile in representing data.
@warrenrebello HTML cards are highly legacy and likely to be retired soon. Or at least removed from adding new. Is there a use case where you need to use the HTML card. I think most people would just use mega table. That is the idea. it replaced HTML.
Hi Ben. Thank you for your responce. With an HTML card, we've been able to apply colour rules to individual cells depending on which percentile a value is placed.
For eg. - We have a list of products. We get the avg sale for each product. Now looking at the avg. sales values, we can identify if that product's avg sales falls within the 25th, 50th, 75th, etc. percentile. Depending on where it falls, we can apply a colour rule to is (using HTML code). This calculation, along with applying the colour category depending on which percentile range the value falls under, can all be done in beastmode. We were not able to product the same using Mega or Pivot tables.
@warrenrebello . WE can test. I know that links via HTML work in the other tables. When is the last time you have tried it? I can ask the team to test as well.
