Re: Not able to open Magic ETL
I recommend reaching out to your instance admin to verify that you have the correct role/grants to use MagicETL
Re: Magic ETL - AI Forecasting
You state that you removed "some" null dates. Preview may work because it is not hitting the full dataset that hits the issue. Such as data consistency, nulls, or formatting. It's just working with a subset.
Make sure your data column is properly formatted as a date (not string) and contains NO nulls when passed to the AI Forecasting tile. Note: clicking the flag that says FAILED should show some hint or detail of the error.
Try to make sure your time series has no missing months.
Re: Being able to edit "Home" Button on Apps
I agree with the above— I was really hoping the Home icon could be customized to point to a URL of my choosing. Greater customization with the navigation bar would be greatly appreciated, e.g. modifying the actions and adding our own buttons.
Re: Complimentary Text Color for Data Labels for Line Bar Chart
I would push this one step further and allow users to manually specify the label color on a series. It could be the same menu/options as "Table Text", although even better would be the option to pick your own color.
Re: We Want to Hear From You! What Webinar Topics Interest You?
@DanHendriksen I agree with @ArborRose
Additionally, I would like to see webinars on building AI agents from scratch that address real-time use cases to help get started.
I’m also interested in bulk PDF extraction to data collections using natural language queries, along with the ability to preview PDFs within dataset rows if that is feasible and web scraping of data for analysis.
Re: Calculate Percentage of Total
Case statements are case sensitive. It looks as though your data has those statuses in all caps, so you need to do the same in your evaluation. Change it to this and you should be good:
Status IN ('CLINIC','SURGERY')
Re: Creating Top N Within Partition Visualization in Domo
See if one of these videos are what you are looking for:
Creating a Top 5 (or more) by Date in Domo
Using the Trellis Feature to Get the Top N of a Sub-Category in Domo
Re: We Want to Hear From You! What Webinar Topics Interest You?
I’d like to see webinars that explore working with data collections as opposed to standard datasets. For example, writing to a data collection using Python in the ProCode editor and then interacting with that collection in a workflow. It would also be great to dive deeper into how manifests play a role in that process.
Additionally, I’ve noticed there’s a lot of interest in how to use forms effectively. A webinar that walks through creating forms that allow users to submit comments or feedback tied to specific records in a dataset would be really valuable. This would help us understand how to capture user input dynamically and store it in a structured, connected way.
Re: Not able to sort Dates
Hi Ritesh! It looks like you have it sorted by Alphabetically even though the X-Axis is a date type.
Click the little "ZA Arrow" sort button on the Y Axis, as shown in my screenshot, to toggle through different sort options. One of the sort options will be by date, as you are intending.
Doing it this way, you won't need the "Sorting" field populated because it'll sort in the card itself.
Let us know if this works,
Re: Not able to sort Dates
I agree with @Data_Devon about the dates being sorted alphabetically. If you remove the sorting altogether, the card will automatically be sorted chronologically by the date in the X Axis.
