Re: May 2024 Domo Release
Thanks @BenSchein! This is perfect because I was on a work call when it popped up and accidentally closed it out. Thanks for sharing!
Re: Reading dataset into a custom app with Javascript
Here is a video of me hooking up the code that I sent you:
And I attached an image of where you can find the uploading of a dataset.
Please π‘/π/π/π this post if you read it and found it helpful.
Please accept the answer if it solved your problem.
Re: Reading dataset into a custom app with Javascript
Here's a couple screenshots showing two different ways I'm calling the dataset. Note the difference in function(result) vs handleResult.
Re: How to omit values from a field if it contains a letter inside it
This solution worked on one of my datasets, might be worth a shot if there is a wide set of letters that could be in your field. Otherwise, @ColemenWilson and @GrantSmith's suggestions will do the job.
I created this beast mode:
case when length(`field`) = length(`field` * 1) then `keep' else 'ignore' end
Multiplying the field by 1 seems to truncate to the numerical value prior to the letter in the string, so if the lengths do not match after the multiplication, then a non-numeric character must have been present.
If someone knows this method is flawed, let me know!
Re: Remove milliseconds from date
Hi, this is in DOMO, building a custom connector, so a version of JAVA.
PRODUCT RELEASE SNEAK: Column Masking Beta
As an active Community member perk, we will be providing insider sneak peeks for the features we will be releasing on Wednesday May 22ndΒ π₯³Β
Previously, Data Administrators had to create and manage multiple versions of the same datasets to accommodate different audiences to protect sensitive data. In some cases, even just one sensitive column in a table will be enough to force and admin to create a separate version of that table.Β
Our new Column Masking feature will be live in Beta this month! This allows Data Administrators to scale significantly by reducing the number of dataset copies that are needed to create. Instead, you can reuse a single dataset for many different audiences β all without compromising on data integrity or security (of course).Β
Users can selectively hide values within a dataset from being visible to audiences by creating a policy for how data should be masked, then assign that policy to any number of columns. Masking policies can be used to redact values entirely, to hash out, or even mask all but the first or last characters.Β Β
@JoshMillheim is my Product Manager over this feature and can chime in with additional details and answer any questions.
Please note these features are subject to change and could lead to a delay in its deployment for an unknown amount of time.Β
Re: Get rid of filter icons in app studio apps?
If you click on the page layout in an app, page settings will pop up in the right panel where you will see 'Filter Options'. You will be able to access these options after clicking on that option!
Re: WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: Where do you go for information for and help with Domo?
No worries, @benm_2000. We're so happy to have you in our Community! I think you'll find a lot of value here. I'll go ahead and delete your comments in this thread above.
