Re: Google Ads Connector
Thanks so much! That makes sense because I pulled cost_micros, but the values looked way to high. I will try dividing by 100000.
Re: CLI with Task Scheduler
Yeah, you can do it in Windows Task Scheduler as I described, you just need to use the -script parameter for the CLI tool and provide the path to the script. See below, just replace the placeholder values with your actual values.
Re: Interested in learning how to use Domo Workflows?
This was great - I finally have functioning workflows! Thanks @DanHendriksen for the great lesson plan! Our instance looks a little different than your videos, but I was still able to follow along. Also appreciate the ideas for additional workflows in the course Conclusion.
Re: Calculating percentage in beast mode based on count
@DavidChurchman yes, that is correct, my apologies. Formula seems to work with the test dataset but not the actual so I will need to do some digging. Thank you!
Re: Calculating percentage in beast mode based on count
The numerator seems like it will be a straight count.
For the denominator, you want an average of the Avails fixed by your distinct grouping.
count(Network)/(AVG(Avails) FIXED(By Network,Hour, Date))
Re: Single item Filter with CONTAINS functionality
Check out the DDX Form and Dataset and tweak lil if you have the time. Below is the sample data set.
If the user knows what to look for, say "Shell", then type in shell ( case insensitive ) in the search box. If the user do not know what to search for, try incorporating the dropdown selector as a lookup ref ( to integrate the dropdown with the table requires abit of nerd coding )

Re: SUM('Revenue') BUT IGNORE ALL FILTERS PLEASE!!!
@Charlie Bantoft You can use a FIXED function in Beast mode so your calculation ignores filters like this:
sum(sum(`Revenue`)) FIXED (by `Dimension` FITLER NONE)

Re: Variables not showing properly in Control area
@Kaminora Is your variable referenced in any beast modes that are actively being used by the card? If it is and it's still not appearing in the card then I would suggest reaching out to Domo Support.
Re: MS Office PowerPoint Variable Integration
That's great news! Thanks for the update.
I would like to still express the desire for option 1, as with just option 2 I still wouldn't be able to have side by side comparisons of variable x vs y. For the meantime, we'll have to do it in a second presentation and copy the slides/charts into my final presentation (while also not refreshing/scanning)
